Finding out where you can actually charge in a given city usually means downloading an app, making an account, and squinting at a map of dots. The data underneath is public — it just isn't readable. We fix that.

ChargingAtlas turns the U.S. DOE / NREL Alternative Fuels Data Center into a plain-English page for every city: how many public stations, how many are Level 2 versus DC fast, which networks run them, which connectors they use, and which charge for free. No app, no login, no upsell.

We make money two honest ways: display ads, and affiliate links in our hand-reviewed home-charger buying guide. Neither changes what the station data says — that's computed straight from NREL. See exactly how in our data & methodology.
